Clint Eastwood, another success?
Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich, and the Burn Notice guy all being directed by the legendary Man With No Name a.k.a. Blondie (Clint Eastwood). Of course such a collaboration would be worth viewing. Changeling, did grab me and keep me hooked for more with authentic costumes and character displays, it is although lacking glorious feel. This drama about a single working-class mother in the late 1920's, portrayed by Angelina Jolie, who's only child is abducted within the confinement of her own home, lacks a real dramatic edge. It is though pieced together quite well. A true story assumed to take on the journey of a mother trying to find her son, quickly turns into a story of the corrupt L.A.P.D. in the late 1920's. But let's not stray as well from the point.
I do recommend seeing this movie. Download it via your online blockbuster acct or if it's ever available on netflix instant watch, or go ahead and rent it. It's a good film with originally unoriginal characters parading around through personal ideals and destinations for an all uncommon cause of civil justice and fair belief of safety provided by the Police in all areas. And Jolie's gorgeously hideous aging self plays perfect for a movie worth your time. So yes, Eastwood did it again, another success.
